Application The EPL series of greases is ideal for all plain and anti-friction bearings of industrial equipment used in steel plants, heavy engineering units, machine tool units, textile mills, paper mills, fertilizer plants, tea garden machinery, sugar mills, etc., particularly where contacting surfaces are exposed to very heavy pressure and shock loads. With the use of Castrol Ball Bearing EPL2 Greases, the service life of lubricated parts (even when subjected to heavy shock loads) gets increased appreciably as the EP additives provide a high degree of film stability to combat shock load fatigue stresses. These greases can easily be pumped through hand or power operated dispensing systems over a wide temperature range. Castrol Ball Bearing EPL 1 Grease is particularly suitable for centralised systems.
